Open Education is a concept that is student-centered and utilizes tools, resources, and practices that are open (free from monetary, legal, and other limitations) for collaboration adaptation and revision thus bridging the gaps of access, equity, and representation. - OPENtxst: Creative Commons Licenses for Open Education: Wednesday 3/8 Noon – 12:50 p.m., Zoom
- OPENtxst: Pressbooks for Beginners: Wednesday 3/8 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., Alkek 440
- OPENtxst: Open Education Week OER & Open Pedagogy: Thursday 3/9 10:00-10:50 a.m., Alkek 301
- OPENtxst: Open Education Week: Research Data Services Open House: Thursday 3/9 11a.m. – Noon, Alkek 350
Each of these sessions is specific to Texas State, and offers the opportunity to meet University Libraries staff, network with colleagues, and learn more about open education here in Bobcat country! Register for any or all events through SignUp.
