Coming off our highly successful May workshop with The Carpentries, Texas State’s University Libraries (UL) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the second two-day data skills workshop happening in July. Texas State students, faculty, and research staff are invited to participate in this online workshop. Space is limited, so be sure to register today!
Texas State University recently joined The Carpentries, a global community committed to enhancing computing and data skills through interactive workshops. The Carpentries teach skills that are immediately useful for researchers, using lessons and datasets that allow them to quickly apply what they have learned to their own work.
In May, we hosted the R for Reproducible Scientific Data. UL’s Research Data Services team has arranged for a second workshop session designed to empower students, faculty, and research staff with essential coding and data science skills at a more advanced level to enhance their research.
