Join us for this work session and add OER to your course content

As Texas State expands its course offerings across campuses, offers more courses online, and partners with other institutions, it is crucial to consider our students and how we can support their success. The implementation of Open Educational Resources (OER) in your course materials and projects is one research-supported way that faculty can support student success.

Join us on Friday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m. to noon on the 11th Floor of JCK for a work session where representatives from OpenStax and other specialists will offer hands-on assistance with this endeavor for your courses. Bring your syllabus, or an area of interest and we’ll dig into OER and learn how to find and use them.

Brunch will be provided!

Please submit your RSVP using this form before 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. Seating is limited, so don’t delay. If you have specific questions or topics you would like to explore during this session, please include it on your RSVP form.
