To keep our library services and spaces open, we need you to help us, help you. Each floor and service area of our building is being monitored hourly to make sure that we can operate as safely as possible. To help you make informed decisions, we have created this risk-level chart. Risk level colors indicate one or more of the conditions described below exist on the floor.CALM - Green Level • Patrons are largely successful in maintaining social distance while in lines, sitting at tables and using computers. • Compliance with mask wearing and social distancing is generally good. • The library has sufficient staff and sanitizing supplies to offer services and keep workspaces clean. CAUTION - Yellow Level • Occupancy of the floor is approaching higher levels and patrons are sometimes not able to maintain six feet of social distancing while in lines, sitting at tables and using computers. • Complaints and observations indicate that some patrons are not wearing facemasks or social distancing. • Library staffng or sanitization supplies are approaching lower levels. CRITICAL - Red Level • Occupancy of the floor has reached or exceeded levels prompting concern and patrons are not able to maintain six feet of social distancing while in lines, sitting at tables and using computers. • Complaints and observations indicate that many patrons are not wearing facemasks or social distancing. • Library staffing or sanitization supplies are not sufficient to operate floors or services safely.
