University Libraries is excited to offer an exclusive presentation series focused on Open Scholarship! Choose one or more of the most applicable presentations for your faculty or department. Open scholarship promotes knowledge equity, increases the readership of your work, and promotes research impact across the globe. University Libraries has a variety of experts that can partner with you, your department, or your faculty to engage in new styles of knowledge creation, publication, and more. Which leads to the announcement part of this message!  

 The available topics are:  

  • Open Scholarship at University Libraries – this selection offers a broad overview of all the following topics 
  • Open Publishing – This session focuses on Digital Publishing and Open Journal Systems. 
  • Open Data – This session focuses on open data and data management plans. 
  • Open Licenses & Licensing – This session focuses on copyright and creative commons licensing. 
  • Open Education – This session focuses on the Open Education ecosystem as whole. 
  • Open Educational Resources – This session focuses on Open Educational Resources, what they are and how to find them. 
  • Open Pedagogy – This session focuses on Open Pedagogy and how to center learners as knowledge creators. 
  • Tools for Open at University Libraries – This session focuses on the tools available at University Libraries to support your Open Scholarship and Open Education pursuits.
